During the second tier of the MEAC program, you will continue and deepen your brush painting skills through the connection of the flow of the life energy "Qi"(chi) within you, and learn how your breath can be a bridge of the union of the body, mind and brush practice. In this course you will: - explore mindfulness, awareness and presence through simple body movement and brush work. - learn how the writing system evolved through thousands of years. - explore symbols and the development of the different styles of writing. - learn to trust the flow of "Qi" (ch'i, life-force) through our brush, and onto the paper, - and likewise how you can bring awareness and joy into your everyday activities. To help us relax and be present in the body, each session begins with simple movement and breathing exercises of Kum Nye (from the Tibetan Buddhist tradition) – suitable for people of all ages and fitness levels.
