Thank you for joining the Level 4 of the “Four Gentlemen” Oriental Brush Painting Training Program: the Awakened One: Plum Blossom (“梅”) . During Level 4, we will: study closely on each section of the plum painting; explore the outlined style and also the free hand style; learn how to perform centred brush strokes and also demonstrate side brush strokes; also look into compositions and how to create a plum blossom painting at the end of this course. Each session begins with simple Tai Chi movement and breathing exercises to help us relax and be present in the body. Guided brush exercises will help you to warm up and get familiar with this ancient and wonderful practice.
